Everett, Washington, June 10, 2019 – Goldfinch Bros., Inc. is excited to announce that they are now an NFRC Approved Calculation Entity (ACE) Organization. This certification is held by only 11 organizations nationwide. Jeff Douglas, Project Manager for Goldfinch Bros., Inc. attended an Approved Calculation Entity Training Workshop and completed and passed all required examinations. The Certificate of Approval he obtained now allows him to perform calculations of fenestration products and issue label certificates using the Component Modeling Approach Software Tool (CMAST).
All commercial projects in the greater Seattle area require a site certificate. This accreditation for Goldfinch Bros., Inc. means that they no longer have to outsource this work to a third-party test lab. They will be able to generate the site certificate every time one is requested quickly without a third party that may be dealing with long lead times. “Anytime a project manager can check an item off their to-do list sooner, it’s a win” according to Jeff Douglas.
